Can I use my husbands business in France or should I set up a separate business?

My husband currently runs an online business in France selling products and has a SIRET number accordingly. I plan on setting up a gite management service - not my own gites but doing changeovers for others.

Can I use his business (SIRET number) of should I set up a separate business with my own number?
Is the micro-entrepreneur business scheme in France the right route for me?
