Can I run a gite business as a secondary auto-entrepreneur activity?

I already run an auto-entrepreneur business and am investigating the purchase of a gite complex with my wife. Can we declare the gite directly through impots as it will be less than 50 per cent of our income? Perhaps as it is declared as micro through Impots I cannot be the named person in both cases, i.e. be an auto-entrepreneur and be involved in the gite registration?

If so would the solution be to:

Register the gite with Impots in my wifes name, who will basically be running it anyway?
Run the gite as a second activity on my own auto-entrepreneur?
Set up a new auto-entrepreneur in my wifes name to run the business that way?
