Can I register as auto-entrepenuer as a restaurant?
We are two business partners not related that wish to set up a small restaurant we own the building so no rent and will be growing most of the vegetables (what we don’t grow will be bought locally from small producers who can not produce receipts). We will have a type 3 licence. We have been on many business courses here to try and choose a status to set up with.
As far as I can see auto-entrepreneur would allow us to divide the books down the middle (in two) and allow us up to 80,000 euros each before we register for TVA. The only glitch is can we individually employ people (one each part time) on the cheque emploi system? After a year or so we could consider moving off this status but we have seen to many business fail in the second year because they choose the wrong tax regime/set up
