Can I close my enterprise individuelle and set up a micro-entreprise business?

I currently have an enterprise individuelle business set up in France and I want to close it for several reasons. Mainly to avoid paying cotisations for next year. I want to open micro-entreprise business with a different activity and a different code. How long does it have to pass before I can close and set up a new business in France, or can I do that as soon as I close my current enterprise individuelle business?
