Can I change a representative office to seasonal?

I have a representative office in Nice that employees two staff, this office was set up through my Dubai company several years ago. Currently the two members of staff work full time, however due to the changes in our business I am considering making the office a seasonal office where it’s only staffed between April and August.
What are our obligations to these two members of staff and what is the best way to deal with this, one of them has worked for us for about five years and the other less than six months.
