Can I cancel my auto-entrepreneur declaration?
I registered as an auto-entrepreneur business online on the 1 June in France. However, a family emergency has resulted in me having to move back to the UK permanently. It is only 12 days since I registered. Do you think it could be possible for me to cancel my registration before I am officially on the system or is it too late?
If it is too late and I have to close the business officially, should I declare the date of cessation d’activite as being the 1 June (the same as registration) in order to avoid problems with health cover etc., or again is it too late? I have had no activity. Since I left on the 8th, I have not yet picked up my post in France so do not know if I have received my SIRET or any confirmation. I would really appreciate your help to close this situation as simply and quickly as possible.
