Can an SCM sublet space to others who are not profession liberals?

Myself and a friend are profession liberals. We want to take on an office but the property we have found has a bit more space than we need and we would like to sublet that space to cover the rent. If we have an SCM in our joint names, can we sublet a desk space to a few other people who are “teletravailers”
