This post follows on from my post on the general discussion board - I would like to know whether you think the following proposal might be a legitimate solution to our slightly complicated business arrangements:

  1. My wife registers as an auto-entrepreneur - in respect of destination management/product development services pertaining to the ongoing operations of UK company in the Spanish Pyrenees - turnover circa €30k; Would this be a PL?
  2. I register as an auto-entrepreneur in respect of destination management/product development services pertianing to the the operations of UK company in the Picos de Europa - turnover circa €20k
  3. I continue as an employee / director of UK company - only undertaking work in the UK head office - taxes paid through PAYE - circa £35k gross.

Eventually, we may look to be paid dividends by the UK company in respect of our equity interest in these two businesses, but presumably then we could remain in the system by having a notional income still paid to us through the auto-entrepreneur routes above in order to continue to recognise that some of our work is undertaken in France on a day to day basis.

I think we potentially risk the one client problem faced by others, but we are constantly researching new destinations to be brought to market, either with our current UK company or any other suitable tour operators who may be interested. Do you think this is a good solution, or can you think of other suitable set-ups.
