Business with minimal expenses; impact of moving up from auto-entrepreneur?

I develop creative concepts, write them out and send them by email to international clients (90% outside of France). I work from home. If I travel my clients pay all expenses. In other words, I have virtually no expenses. Curious about the impact of going over the €32K auto-entrepreneur limit given the difference in tax rates and social costs.

In other words, can you give me an idea of how much more I’d have to generate under regime reel simplifie to net the same amount earned under auto-entrepreneur? My instincts suggest it’s quite a heavy hit moving from one level to the next unless you are able to write off tons of stuff. I should add that my clients give me a fixed budget and now, of course, as an auto-entrepreneur I don’t charge TVA on top of that. Also I’ve discussed this with one key US client and she said she would not accept VAT on top - the fixed amount is all that I could be paid. So if I move up from auto-entrepreneur, then need to charge TVA, it would seem the TVA would come out of my fee. So another heavy hit?
