Business loans for auto-entrepreneurs

I saw your article on FGIF and EEF but the links do not seem to be working so I presume these finance initiatives are no longer available for business loans.

I am an auto-entrepreneur with a chambre d’hôtes. I desperately need to install central heating but am short on funds. I have decided to proceed with an air source boiler because 1) it is eco friendly and therefore reasonable to run and 2) there are grants and tax rebates available towards the cost, which brings the cost to around what a mains gas system would cost, but it is a much more sustainable fuel source and therefore preferable.

But I have to come up with the finance before the rebates come in.

I am in the process of selling a garage that I bought with the house, but realise that I do not need. It is a few hundred meters away in the village car park, so it is not actually part of my house! And this sale should cover most the amount I need after the rebates. But I still need to find the rebate amounts up front, which is about 10,500€.

For some people this is not a huge amount, but it is for me. The bank do not lend to auto-entrepreneurs, even though it would be short term. Are there any loans available in France for the self-employed, especially as it will make a really big difference to my business (ski season will be much more comfortable) and vastly reduce my electricity bill?

Any thoughts?

many thanks
Louise
