Best time to register a gite business as a Micro Enterprise?

After taking accountants advice we are setting up our new gite business as a Micro Enterprise. Our first lettings will be in 2012 and we plan to start marketing in January 2012. Is it best to wait until the begining of 2012 to register with the Local Chamber of Commerce, or are there benefits to register now and get into the system in the current year.
