Best business structure for software consultant in France?

I am looking for the best business structure for an independent software consultant. The basic information:

I have a long term contract with a US based company and I invoice and am paid in US$.
The consultancy fees for this work is about €70,000 a year.
Overheads are very low as I work from home although I do occasionally buy new hardware (Mac, iPad, iPhone).
There are no employees.

In the UK when invoicing a non European country the equivalent of TVA is not applicable, is this the same in France?
