Auto-entrepreneur registration code for selling artwork and craft items?

We have previously asked a few questions relating to opening a small shop. Despite the low expected figures from the shop I have decided to register as an auto-entrepreneur for the time being. I am just wondering what the correct registration code would be as I will be selling artwork and craft items I have painted and made myself as well as wholesale gift items.
Do I just need to register as an auto-entrepreneur online to start trading or do I also need to register with the chamber of commerce? I know it will vary but do you know approximately how long this will take?
