Auto-Entrepreneur or Travailleur Independante?

I am trying to find out what the difference is between the two? I originally registered as Auto-Entrepreneur (now micro-entreprise, I am also wondering why it is still run under the old name…) and without my doing anything about it, suddenly ended up being a travailleur independante? I work in tourism business and part (the smaller part approx. 25%) of my revenue is consulting foreign companies and the other larger part is designing and selling trips to mainly German and Austrian customers. These trips are then operated by a German travel company and we share profits. Thank you.
