APE code for auto-entrepreneur editor?
I am starting to fill out the form to set myself up as an auto-entrepreneur but I’ve run into a problem on the first page. It asks me to describe my activity. I will be working as a freelance editor (copyediting, proofreading, etc.) and I have spoken to someone who already does this in France as an auto-entrepreneur and she is registered as a profession liberale so I assume I should be in this category too.
However, on the online auto-entrepreneur form, rather than asking me which category (liberale, commerciale, etc.) I should be in, it asks me to enter my activity from a dropdown list. I did chose Edition - livres but if I choose this, it automatically puts me in the commerciale category (and I can’t change that). Is that correct or should I be describing myself in a different way? I did think that correcteur/redacteur might work but that isn’t on the dropdown list on the form.
