I am registered as an enterprise individuelle, under the regime réel, with the chambre d’agriculture and MSA as an eleveur des chevaux. I have had requests from people who would like riding lessons from me, (I hold BHSAI and BHSII teaching cert) but think I need to do an exam here to be permitted to teach - is this correct? I doubt my French is good enough, can I simply hire out ponies instead? What do I need to do to be allowed to do this? Do I need a licence of some sort? Can you offer advice re who to contact re insurance?

I also have a TEFL cert and want to teach English. I believe I can do this under cesu if it is in the student’s home However, I would like to offer stages during holidays, and holidays with accomodation, offering English courses and riding here, for children, adults and possibly with the option of also having another teacher come in to offer extra tuition in maths and French. The accomodation and meals would be in my own home. Can I do this with my current status, or do I need to register with another organisation? Does this mean I would have further cotistations to pay on top of the (significant) cotistations I already pay to the MSA?

I am also an artist painting mainly horses - to sell my work in France or via internet, does this require yet another registration?
