Auto-entrepreneur not allowed to be listed on website of artisans?

Went along to the Chambre de Metiers and Artisans this morning with the application for my carte ambulant - no problems and came away with my provisional certificate. However, when I asked about my business being listed in the directory of artisans, I think I was told that because I registered my activity before April 1st it was not allowed for auto-entrepreneur’s to be on the website directory. Sadly my French just wasn’t up to fully understanding the conversation - but do I take it that the rules are different for anyone registering after 1st April? I added the artisan activity in March this year.
