I have been reading some of the postings with interest as we have a retail business which is slowly growing but in the meantime we have added an activie secondaire, entretien de jardin, to help us over the quiet times and help with the income.

We went to the chambre de commerce and paid our fee and asked if there would be any further payments needed and was told no it would be added to the existing business and treated the same.  However, we have now received a rappel de contribution from Val’hor for 239,20.  I have looked at their website and it seems that our new addition is listed and it appears to be a mandatory payment.

After reading Valerie’s news item regarding 3,000, we now feel we are in a corner because we thought that the social and tax contributions would be included on the declaration triemestrelle and there would be nothing else to pay, now it seems that we will paying to work.  Is there anyone who has already been through this and have you any advice?
