Adding to existing business

I own a restaurant in Deux Sevres. Like everyone these days things are very slow. I have been making my own English sausages and bacon at the restaurant and selling them cooked on the premises. I have been approached by a supermarket and 3 other shops, asking if they could start stocking and selling my sausages and bacon. I have been advised by the chambre de metiers that I cant do this until I have been resident in France for 5 years. Obviously, I have a controlled kitchen and would be delighted if anyone can offer me some advice on getting this up and running.
