Add a category to my existing auto-entrepreneur business?

I would like to be able to do work other than that which I am registered to do as an auto-entrepreneur business in France. It is a totally different type of work but I have been told by my accountant that it is possible to add another category to my auto-entrepreneur business by visiting the chambre de metier, as long as the original category provides the majority of the income and I do not exceed the original income limit.

Is this the case, and is it as simple to add a second category to auto-entrepreneur business in France?
