Photographer profession liberale to one day switch to artisan

From reading the past questions and answers on this website, I understand that as a photographer if I only sell digital files I can be registered as an micro-entrepreneur profession liberal, is this correct? If I want to sell prints, I need to be registered as an artisan which I will need to do myself and take a 5 day course. I would like to be registered as an artisan long term however I would like to get started now as I will be doing jobs soon. Can I register as a profession liberal and then switch to artisan once I am ready to do the print work (and my French is more advanced to do the 5 day course?) If I can switch, how difficult or easy will this process be?
