Going from profession liberale to artisan or artist in France

I am currently working as a photographer, profession liberale in France. I have been offered the opportunity to exhibit my work with an artists collective. I would therefore like to add a secondary activity to my auto-entrepreneur to be able to print and sell and exhibit.

Is this possible and would I have to complete a course at the Chambre de Metiers?
Also a colleague of mine has asked if I would like to join her in photographing weddings here and in the UK, part time. Is this also possible to include as another activity and if so how would I go about this?
