2 Questions About Background Check for Professional liberale - UX Design Consulting
I have a background check in late March 2025, which I received and sent for an apositille in April of 2025 in USA. Is there a time limit for the validity, according to the French government, for the check and apostille? I hope to apply for the visa in late June, early July, pending appointment scheduling. Will I need to get a new background check, or is an apostille from April within the acceptable time frame?
Additionally, I have a minor misdemeanor charge, which is over 20 years old, still on my background, which will take quite a bit of time to remove federally, but I have a certified document from the original state-level court proving it was completely dismissed in 2024. Will this be sufficient, or do I need to get it removed on the federal level and get a new background check and apostille before coming to France?
