1st Turnover Experience Questions

Bonjour Valerie,
I just completed my first turnover declaration (woo), but I had a couple of questions regarding my experience:
1.) I thought that when having you register businesses my wife and I, we were set up to pay monthly. However, when in the URSSAF system it looks as though we had until October for July’s turnover (quarterly). Can you explain this, and if there is anything I can/should do to change it?
2.) After downloading the confirmation for payment, I saw that I was labeled as an “artisan” (while my wife was labeled as commercant). Is that the correct designation for my business of graphic design services and event hosting? Can you clarify?
