Working for a client in France as entrepreneur in another EU country?

I have recently set up my own technical consulting company in another EU country, operating as a limited company. I would now have a client and project in France that should fill my books for the next 6 to 12 months. This would be my only client for that period of time.

  1. Can I continue operating from another EU country as entrepreneur and provide my service in France? I understand setting up a limited company in France would be problematic since I would only have that one company as client.
  2. Would I need to provide the pre-declaration (Détachement de travailleurs - Déclaration préalable de détachement) as entrepreneur? Technically I would not be posting salaried / seconded employees to France since I would provide the service as entrepreneur.
