My business has been the victim of vandalism. I actually know who is responsible. Who do I report it to? When I went to the gendarmes, they said it was a civil matter, that I had to contact the maison de justice? We live in the country and I was certain that the gendarmes where responsible for law and order. Not so long ago when my tenant lost their keys very late at night for the umpteenth time, and could not get in, they called the gendarmes, who then called me to open the gates and open the gates immediately.
