RSA entitlement in France?

I have contacted my local Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (CAF) and applied for the revenu de solidarité active (RSA) benefit, they have had all my information since 26 November and I still don’t know if I will be entitled.

I could really do with some extra help with xmas coming up, do you know if anyone else has received this under micro regime. We have been earning less than 900 euros per month and with three children we are struggling to make ends meet.
