I got a SIRET number because I’m giving animations en anglais in primary schools and the Mairie asked me to get one so they can pay me. I feel like I was forced into this! Now I’m a little lost. I’m getting all sorts of mail and forms to fill out. One of them (Direction Generale des Finances Publiques) is asking me my comptable name and about where I will be working. I don’t have a comptable. Do I need one? And I’m working in public schools. Do I need to have a local affecté à mon activité? I plan to teach to adults as well but perhaps in their home, or at a café. What should I put in the form? I don’t even have a name for my company yet!
