Micro-enterprise ayant droit to conjoint collaborateur in France?
Please can you advise on the latest developments with regard to ayant droit and my registration as a micro-enterprise business in France. My wife and I are currently developing a property to eventually run as chambres d’hote. This will take us some time.
Meanwhile, to generate some income in France I want to register my online sales business as a micro-enterprise. The business should generate approximately 12,000 euros to 18,000 euros in annual sales. Not enough to live on, but enough to ensure we don’t eat into our capital too much whilst we complete the work required for our chambres d’hote. My wife will have no involvement in the micro-enterprise.
The 3,000 euros plus cotisations in registering my wife as a conjoint collaborateur are simply too prohibitively high as an option at this stage. My wife will have no involvement in the micro-enterprise.
- When we commence the chambres d’hote, I will apply to register my wife as a conjoint collaborateur because she will then be involved. But can I register my wife as ayant droit until then?
- I am a UK citizen and my wife is a Canadian citizen. Does this have any impact?
