I own a UK limited company which sells products online using a UK based fulfilment company who ship and send all the products to the customers. We sell through third party sites and our own website across Europe and my partner and I intend to move to France in the next month or so. Can you confirm the correct legal way to set up in France. As being the only director I’ve read that because I’m living in France the company could be classed as run from France and therefore french for tax purposes. Therefore I need to know do I need a branch or a subsidiary of the company to be set up in France to ensure I am operating legally and correctly in terms of France tax law etc. and what kind of implications could this have on my business in terms of tax.

Kind Regards
