How can I make a cotisation fonciere des entreprises payment?
I received an email from the Direction Generale des Finances Publiques on 4 December that I must pay the Cotisations Foncieres des Entreprises (CFE-IFER) before 15 December online and therefore set up an account first. Then my child has been sick this week and I’ve had lots of work, so I just had time this morning to try to do this.
I’ve gone on the site and set up the account using my SIREN number, and then the screen said they’ll send me a code (or password?) by post within 30 days to activate my account before I can pay. I’m assuming that I won’t receive the code by post before 15 December, and we’re leaving for the holidays later next week. Do you have any advice on what I should do about this? Will there be a penalty? Do you know if I can go somewhere and pay in person before/on the 15 December?
