How and when do I remove my husband from my carte vitale?

My husband has just registered as an auto-entrepreneur in his own right. He hasn’t yet received his carte vitale, but this morning had a letter asking for a photo etc. to produce this. Now that he will be paying social charges himself, who do I need to tell that the circumstances have changed, and when should I tell them? Should he not return the form and photo for his carte vitale that was based on my business, and wait for a new one based on his own business?
