Expenses for gite registered as micro-entrepreneur in France?

What is classed as an expense when keeping records for the new micro-entrepreneur business in France, is it all the expenses for my gite and all the expenses for my house as well? For example, if I have electrical work for the kitchen in my gite I know that is to be recorded but if I have electrical work on my house kitchen (not part of the gite business in France) then is that to be recorded as an expense as well?
