Do I add a business APE code or declare direct to Impots in France?

I am unsure whether to add another APE code to my original 55.20Z. I want to set up as a Traiteurs and in a reply to someone else you mentioned Traiteurs are registered with Chambre de Commerce and come under vente de marchandises at 14.1%.

I currently work on my own in the current activity, but the Traiteurs would involve both my husband and I. He is not conjoint collaborateur as the turnover will not high enough to sustain this. What would be the best way to declare the other activity?
