Do I need an S1?

From 8 April 2012 I have been resident in France and registered and working as an auto-entrepreneur business. I declared a reasonable income for 2012 and will do so again in 2013. I have more than one customer. With my auto-entrepreneur status I obtained my carte vitale and SEAM via RSI/RAM. In February 2014 I will start receiving my UK state pension. Do I need to change anything involving my Caisse and / or get an S1?

Also, does the S1 have any effect on what tax or social charge I will pay on my state pension income? Behind these questions are snippets of (dis)information I’ve read in various places that led me to believe I might need to change to CPAM (with an S1) upon UK retirement, and that the S1 might have some effect on whether I pay less social charges on my UK state pension (not a gov’t pension). But I have not read anywhere how all this interacts with my auto-entrepreneur status.

Finally, looking a bit further down the road, will I have to change caisse/get an S1 down the road a couple of years when I cease working as an auto-entrepreneur?
