Cost of adding someone as an ayant droit to my business in France?

Thinking about your answer to my last question has provoked other of questions relating to this subject.

  1. Does adding an ayant droit to my business in France change the amount of social charges I pay?
  2. I have heard that the amount of maternity care has recently been reduced if you are only paying a smallish amount in social charges. I’m not sure if this is true and if it is, has come into effect yet, and if so, what has been affected?
  3. What sort of amount of social charges need to be paid to make sure you are not considered a small contributor?
