Can an auto-entrepreneur rent out furnished accommodation?

The mother of my girlfriend owns the apartment we live. I would like to rent out the apartment for a couple of months of the year when we are elsewhere. But being that she has a pension after some calculation we see no benefit of renting out the flat due to high increase of taxes (on her). I’m wondering whether I could step in with my auto-entrepreneur and become her property manager renting out and invoicing clients. She would not earn anything since I would manage all the income of property. Is this option feasible from a legal point of view?
