Appropriate Business Structure for Freelancer(s) in France

I have just moved to France with my family. I am an Electronic Engineer (design microchips) who freelances - 6 month contract with company X, 12 month contract with company Y, etc. I work from home.
Once a month I have to travel to customer for a week (often outside of France) and this is approx. €700 of expenses. My typical hourly rates are about €70 - which for 40 hours week (45 weeks a year) is about €120k annual income. I currently do this via my UK LTD company….but we now wish to definitively stay and live in France.
Other information - my wife has a CDI in France so I am on her mutuelle. At a later stage my wife *may* want to leave her CDI and freelance also.
I have two children (7 ans, 10 ans).
- What company structure should I choose to replace my UK LTD in France ?
- I do not think I can be a auto-entrepreneur since I am above the €70k plafond.
- Since I can’t be an auto-entrepreneur, I guess I will have a very large social/tax burden ?
