Which is the best structure for a chomeur wanting to launch a business in France?

In a few months, I will be licencié as part of a Plan de Sauvegarde de l’Emploi (PSE). I have a friend here who is in the tourism business, and we want to go into business together.
She currently has auto-entrepreneur status, and I am wondering what the best structure is for me to be able to continue getting chomage while getting the business built up?
From what I’ve read, the société à responsabilité limitée (SARL) seems like the best option, but I’m unsure, and she is nervous about leaving auto-entrepreneur and having to pay too much in charges/taxes.
