When to change from EIRL to auto-entrepreneur business?

I am currently an entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée (EIRL) business as an electrician in France. I am wondering if I can close down my EIRL business in France at the end of 2014 and start up as an auto-entrepreneur in the same trade at the beginning of 2015? Or, will I have to wait a full year before I can practice as an electrician again? My turnover for the last two years has been lower than 30,000 euros and this year is likely to be about 18,000 euros.
