What permits or papers do EU citizens need to work in France?

Could I just check with you that as an EU citizen (UK national from birth) I definitely don’t need any sort of permit to live and work in France? I have been asked by the International Office of a college I am working for and it is probably just a routine question but I wanted to be quite clear in case I have misunderstood.
