I am on a contrat à durée indéterminée (CDI) at a French company and want to create my own business on the side. I have received an offer to work freelance with one company and the details which they sent me I have emailed to you.

  1. What is the best way to accept payment from this company?
  2. Would I be better off signing up as an auto-entrepreneur business and being paid through my own company?

They are offering me two payment options. Working through a Wage Company (Société de Portage Salarial) who will take ten percent for creating my invoices, or working with their company on a part-time employment contract, i.e. a contrat à durée déterminée (CDD).

They have offered me 105 euros an hour excluding tax. I am not sure what that means.
