What is the best way to register 2 businesses and be TVA registered?
We want to operate our property as a gite and bed and breakfast business. It has 5 rooms available for these activities and like most this will be a seasonal business in the summer months. In addition I intend to operate a motorbike hire and sale business, where I will hire motorbikes and in some cases buy and sell motorbikes. In time this business will employ local French staff such as an administration person and a mechanic. The turnover and income from the motorbike hire and selling business will be much greater than the gite and bed and breakfast business.
As I will buy and sell goods for the motorbike business, as well as many consumable items in servicing and operating the bike fleet, it is important that I believe I am registered for TVA. What is the best legal structure to set up these 2 businesses, can it be under 1 or should we divide the motorbike hire and sales business and the gite and bed and breakfast business?
