Should I register with Pole Emploi?
I am considering starting an auto-entrepreneur business in France later this year and wish to take this year for fact-finding and preparation so we avoid making mistakes we made last time hubby was self-employed for 4 years and we closed in Jan 09 as the charges were crippling and we’d made a loss!). Hubby has been employed since May 09, I’m at home with 7 month old. I have no rights to maternity pay or chomage (I only taught part-time from Sep 08 to Aug 09).
Should I be registering with assedic (even though I don’t want to work just yet) to entitle me for ACCRE later on or will we automatically get that as we supposedly receive RSA? The CAF gave us a nice one-off RSA sum recently after waiting 6 months, now they want most of it back as they didn’t realise we own our own house. Also will we have to declare income soon and does mine get added too (reason I ask is half my work was in 2008 and I thought forms to come will be declaring 2009 income - also my hubby says my wage falls below the declarable amount)
