Should I register as conjoint collaborateur?

I was wondering is it true, if I register under my husband EI as a conjoint collaborateur non salarié, I will not have to pay any social charges? I am currently a dependant. Are there any downsides to being a conjoint collaborateur? Are there any particular benefits? I would only be involved in some admin and maybe processing some online orders.
