Rupture Conventionnelle to start auto-entrepreneur business in France

I am thinking about leaving my current part-time job in France to focus on my business. I have a CDI contract and have been talking to my employer about possible options. They mentioned Rupture Conventionnelle and something about them giving me a lump sum of money, and then I’d be able to get 70% of my current wage through unemployment benefits even as an auto entrepreneur for up to one or two years.

  1. What exactly does Rupture Conventionnelle mean?
  2. Does this information sound accurate?
  3. Could I get this benefit with a SARL or another status?
  4. Are there funds or benefits that my business partner and I may be entitled to if in the beginning we struggle financially? For housing, living costs etc.
