Previous Gîtes and B&B registration under BIC Micro-enterprise

My ex-husband registered gîtes and bed and breakfast at our jointly owned home which we ran for 8 years. We are now divorced and his main residence is elsewhere and the business has not had a revenue for the last 18 months. All correspondence for the enterprise was redirected and I have no idea if the business has been officially shut down. Can the tax office confirm this for me? Can I now set up my own auto-entrepreneur for the gîtes only at the joint home?
