Next steps after registration of SASU business in France?

I’ve registered my business as a société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle (SASU) here in France. I have also registered myself with l’aide au chômeur créant ou reprenant une entreprise (ACCRE) and received a confirmation letter.

  1. What are the next steps with regard to documentation, paperwork required - do I need to hire an accountant, how do I make payment and / or register for social security?
  2. Are there other things to do with regard to legal / commercial compliance?
