Moving to France and be able to work for Croatian company?

I am Croatian (EU member) citizen living in Croatia. Also, I’m the director and the employee of the little IT company located in Zagreb, Croatia. My girlfriend got a PhD position in Toulouse and we’ll be moving to France in the next couple of months.
What are my options if I’m to remain in close working relationship with the company in Crotia? Is it possible to live in France and be employed by some other EU country, in the context of social security and pension. Will I be required to form some kind of company or legal representation in France in order to be able to receive funds / monthly pay from Croatian company? My company is web software development company and I’d be doing remote work over the internet.
