Having run two auto-entrepreneur in Normandy (61) since early 2007, we have now moved to Pyrenees Atlantique (64).

  1. I have found a post where you state that Siret numbers will change following a move and that Greffe needed to be notified. We thought we had notified all the relevant authorities and RSI made the necessary changes with regard to a different organisme santé. Is the mention of Greffe in relation to the changes that mean I now need to register with RCS? I am also confused as to whether this is the same as Chambre de Commerce?  I have been looking on the internet and it appears I need to go to Greffe du Tribunal de Commerce and not Chambre de Commerce – is this correct?
  2. My husband is an auto-entrepreneur non commerciales – am I correct that the changes which require existing auto-entrepreneur to register with RCS or RM does not apply to his business? However will his Siret number change and if so, who do we need to notify?
  3. Having listened to your Video for setting up as an auto-entrepreneur: It appears from what you say that once the tax is paid there are no refunds. However, we have always paid our tax as we go along (impot liberatoire) but have received a cheque refunding overpayment each year. This appears to contradict the advice in your video and we wondered if this is a recent change. If so do we need to change to paying at the end of the year in future (I appreciate it is too late to change for 2016).
  4. With regard to CFE – who do we need to notify? My husband has continued to trade from the new address but I have only just registered with the Mairie and applied for a new category two licence for the bed and breakfast which will open later in the year.
